November? Bring it on.

Happy November Everyone!

So, NaNoWriMo is 11 days in. I actually should be at about 11,000 words right now, but I'm a wee bit behind at 9,157. Oh well. I'll just put up this spiffy banner anyway:

Oh yeah! Uh huh! Crowd goes wild!

This is my third year in a row with NaNo, and by far the hardest. With my other books I pretty much just sailed along with little to no problems. This year? Nope! But I guess it couldn't be easy every year. That would be ridiculous, as writers go through big problems all the time.

My novel's current name (which, knowing me, will turn out to be its permanent name unless it's published and the name is already taken by ten other books) is called The Talisman. It's in the Adventure genre and I have a whole slew of characters that are going to be doing cool stuff and bringing worlds together, etc. I mean, you would definitely want to go on a wild goose chase for a legendary object and overthrow not one but two government systems, wouldn't you? Wouldn't you?! 

I thought so.

The biggest project I've probably done, but hey, I have a whole month to finish it.

Clock. Is. Ticking.

Anywhoozle (Michael LOVES to say that), November is also my birthday month--Yay! I'll be turning the big old 15...gasp. Seems just yesterday I was turning 10...my word. And I'll be turning 15...on the 15th! He he he! Okay I just think that's cool.
