Elsie Dinsmore, my new doll!

Hi Everyone!

A few days ago, a new dolly joined my Doll Family...and her name is Elsie Dinsmore! She is an A Life of Faith doll and I got her from TJ Maxx for $40 plus her accessories, which is an amazing deal! She would normally be $120 with the accessories! I just love her! She is a very old Elsie, probably first edition! :O She has a beautiful soft look about her that I love. I know what your thinking! Why am I rambling on? Let's see some pictures! Ok, ok, here they are:
Pretty girl!
With her hat on

A little distracted from her book...

Close-up of her hazel eye!

The accessories that came with her!

A Life of Faith is no longer in business, but you can find the dolls at Family Christan stores, sometimes at TJ Maxx (but not extremely often) and other retailers. :)
Yes, I know what else you are thinking, I have been getting a lot of these ALOF dolls lately! Yes, I have, but this will probably be my last one for a while, unless of course Santa decides to bring one. ;)
What do you think of Elsie? And also, what do you think would be a good middle name for her? I was thinking about Miranda, but what do you guys think?

Hmmmm... well immediately when I saw her I thought Elsie Elaine. It kinda just rolls of your tongue! Or what about Elsie Louise? (Not quite sure how to spell that)

: I think that Elizabeth would be a good middle name. Miranda is a good idea too.

She's so nice, Quinlyn! My Elsie says "Hi" to yours! She must be earlier version, becuase her hair is a lot shorter than the dolls now. They started her out with short hair because of the books, but apparently they grew it so girls could play with it. Also her bangs curls are different. But she is VERY cute! Love her!

Oh and Quinlyn, Miranda is nice. My Elsie's middle name is Rebecca. Elsie Rebecca Dinsmore. LoL I don't care if you copy me but any name between hers is really great!

But I'm confused...you can find the older edition at Family Christian? I haven't seen her anywhere at TJ Maxx. :(

Very cute. But I think I like Elsie May Dinsmore better. Also I like the second edition Elsie's better. I have one and just got her today.

I think you are a lucky girl to have gotten Elsie. I am a grandmom but love these dolls and wanted to add several of them to my own collection. Very sad that the company closed. Your blog header is adorable and the AG dolls certainly look cool in spite of the heat.
